Those who were disappeared during the war vanished without leaving any trace. On one hand, there remains a quiet, enduring hope that they will one day return. On the other, there is the harsh reality that their bodies may already lie buried in the earth. These elements become silent witnesses, carrying untold stories and standing as markers of the presence of those who are no longer there.
The body is not visible, yet its presence is deeply and powerfully felt. This work reflects a state of confrontation — an in-between space where waiting and acceptance coexist. It raises questions: when does hope end? When does acceptance begin?
