$650.00

Rinoshan Susiman

Topography: Undefined Landscape (Collection of 4)

Mixed media on board (sand, collage, acrylic)

Height 10 inch x Width 12.5 inch

Artist information

Topography: Undefined Landscape examines identity as something formed through the body's continuous interaction with lived and inherited environments. The work begins from the idea that the body absorbs socio-political and personal histories, which settle into unconscious layers over time.

During sleep, these internalised experiences re-emerge through involuntary movement, leaving creases and folds on the sheet. These marks are approached as traces of an inner topography — not as representations of land but as registrations of memory within the body. By translating these subtle imprints into a visual language, the work frames identity as unstable and continuously shifting, shaped by accumulation, erasure, and repetition rather than fixed definition.

$650 per piece; $2,600 collection of 4
